Help.. Are these coins real ??
I have recently gotten interested in collecting old silver coins from different countries ( especially old Russian Roubles). I am now the high bidder on these two coins but I am starting to doubt that they are real. Their condition seems to good to be true. Can anybody help?
thanks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EBI%3APIC&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EBI%3APIC&rd=1 |

Suspect !! or you are over paying. A coin dealers advice would be prudent.

Re: Help.. Are these coins real ??
When a listing on e-bay says something like...."I do not know about coins..." or "I can't comment on the authenticity.." stuff like that.....I move on. Beacuse usually the EXACT opposite is true. They know exactly what they are doing.....

Re: Help.. Are these coins real ??
I would retract your bid. The seller just bought the coin for $20 in August. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=300013858907
Always check the sellers feedback and most recent sales and buys. 65GT350 |
Re: Help.. Are these coins real ??
"I do not know much about Russian coins, so I do not guarantee the authenticity of the coin."
Warning, dive, dive for the exit |
Re: Help.. Are these coins real ??
Thanks for your advice Blueice, Wyldwil, 65GT350, and TomD. I really appreciate it.
I will definitely run and retract my bids.. |
Re: Help.. Are these coins real ??
On a positive it looks like you have another bidder that wants the coins too. From the look of the other bidders feedback he might know a bit more about the coin since he has bought some in the past.
